- After an injury-hit 2025 WNBA season, Caitlin Clark, Indiana Fever guard, returned to competition following groin and quad issues in 13 games and brought back golf during COVID, saying `Then, I kind of stopped playing and then during COVID, I picked it back up`.
- At 8:30 a.m. ET, Clark teed off in an all-amateur trio with Jordan Jackson and Dan Towriss, playing the front nine with Nelly Korda and the back nine with Lauryn Nguyen.
- Crowds and cameras followed Clark for nearly 15 minutes on a packed tee box, and The Golf Channel will air highlights at 10:00 a.m. ET, streaming on Fubo and NBC Golf.
