DRAFFENVILLE, KY -- One year after stepping away from high school golf, Marshall County senior Trinity Beth has made an immediate impact with two tournament wins upon her return.

The 2025 high school golf season kicked off this week with the Marshall County Invitational taking center stage. What is normally a girls/boys doubleheader, turned into a girls only event as the heat index climbed throughout the day.

Ryle, McKelvey runner-up at Blue Bird Invitational

The 2025 KHSAA golf season is underway and Ryle’s boys golf team got off to a promising start. The Raiders finished tied for second out of 19 teams at the Blue Bird Invitational at the Big Blue Course at the University Club of Kentucky in Lexington. Ryle shot two-over as a team, tying with Louisville Eastern as St. Xavier was the going away winner at 16-under-par. Livingston Central Golfers Take 9th Place at Marshall County (w/PHOTOS)

Livingston Central sent four golfers to the opening tee box on Tuesday and came home with a ninth-place finish at the Marshall County Invitational. Taylor Leahy led the Lady Cardinals with a 36th-place finish. She recorded a 53 on both sides of the Calvert City Country Club course.
