- On Friday, Satadru Dutta confirmed that Lionel Messi’s GOAT Tour of India 2025 will kick off in Kolkata on December 12.
- In February, Messi agreed to the proposal after a 45-minute discussion at Dutta’s residence, Dutta said.
- The Kolkata leg will include a meet-and-greet, Argentine-Indian tea festival, and unveiling of Messi’s statue, with tickets starting from Rs 3,500, Dutta said.
- Messi’s tour includes masterclasses with children in each city to inspire Indian footballers and reflect a cultural and sporting exchange.
- With the countdown on, the official tour poster will arrive between August 28 and September 1, and Dutta said final venue confirmations are expected within 15 days.
