A toddler in Upper Austria narrowly escaped with his life on Sunday afternoon: The 5-year-old from the Mödling district was with his parents at the Linz Parkbad and entered the approximately 1.4-meter-deep adventure pool without parental supervision and without a flotation device. According to police, the boy fell under the water's surface for unknown reasons, under a bridge in a difficult-to-see area.
The boy drifted unconscious in the water for two minutes before a woman became aware of him and pulled him out of the water.
