Flags have been raised as the Quinte Region shows its PRIDE this week. Every June, the Hotel Dieu hospital raises the rainbow flag in support of Pride month. This symbol communicates to the 2SLGBTQ+ community: “You are welcome here. Within these walls, you will be treated with respect and dignity. We do not discriminate.”
