Péter Szijjártó gave a speech regarding the expansion of the LEGO factory in Hungary.
It is the second largest of the company's plants in the world, where they do everything from injection molding of components to packaging of kits.
The LEGO Group today officially opened its expanded factory in Nyíregyháza, which has increased its production capacity by 30% in two years. The factory now employs more than 4,300 people and has become the second largest LEGO production facility in the world. The handover was also attended by Péter Szijjártó, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
“Today, the LEGO factory in Nyíregyháza has become the second largest LEGO factory in the world. With an investment of HUF 54 billion, this is the only factory of the Danish toy manufacturer in Europe where all production processes are present.
