Laurel Park is approved for 120-day meet in 2026

The Maryland Jockey Club at Laurel Park received approval from the Maryland Racing Commission to conduct 120 days of live racing in 2026.  The Laurel Park winter meet will begin on Friday, Jan. 9, and run through Sunday, March 29. For 2026, Maryland's racing calendar will look more or less like this year's schedule after the Maryland Racing Commission on Wednesday approved a slate of 120 dates for Laurel Park.
