The European Union Transport Ministers reached an agreement on the revision of the regulation on the rights of air passengers.
While passengers can claim up to €600 in compensation for a delay of more than three hours in their flight, the 27 Member States of the European Union agreed on Thursday 5 June to reduce this amount. The text is now to be discussed in the European Parliament.
Bad news for air travellers: compensation for passengers in the event of aircraft delays will be reduced throughout the EU.
