The Spencerville Fire Department received the call shortly after 1 p.m. for a barn fire in the 1700 block of North Kill Road.

(6-3-25) The Spencerville Fire Department responded to a three-alarm barn fire in rural Allen County just after 1 p.m. in the 1700 block of North Kill Road. Fire departments from Allen and Van Wert counties were called in to help extinguish the fire. In addition to the barn, flames spread to a nearby field, burning approximately two to three acres.
