Lampasas ISD set to enforce new law banning cellphone use during school day

For the upcoming 202526 school year, students will not be able to access personal communication devices such as cellphones throughout the school day. Earlier this spring, Texas lawmakers passed House Bill 1481 which prohibits wireless electronic communication devices during instructional time.
