American Lake Park beach access opens for the holiday weekend

Access to the beach at American Lake Park is open in time for the three-day holiday weekend. The upper section of the park remains closed while the final work is completed on park improvements. We hope to celebrate a full opening of the park later this summer. Beach visitors can access the beach using a pedestrian walkway along the retaining wall. Lack of beach access dampens holiday - Plymouth Independent

Seems like Plymouth is closed for the Fourth of July holiday. Why do I even live here? No beach access for White Horse and Priscilla Beach. Priscilla Beach belongs to that neighborhood only? I know it was made into a homeowners association in 1937, but how can they claim the beach? This seems like overreach of public space. Does the Town of Plymouth provide any street maintenance in this neighborhood, or do plowing of these streets in the winter…
