On the afternoon of July 29 local time, at the UN headquarters in Geneva (Switzerland), President of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) Tulia Ackson and Secretary General of the IPU Martin Chungong hosted a ceremony to welcome heads of delegations attending the 6th World Conference of Speakers of Parliaments. National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man and more than 100 National Assembly/Parliament Chairmen attended the Conference.
Parliament's President, Igor Grossu, will support a speech at the World Conference of Presidents of Parliament, which will take place from 29 to 31 July and will be led by the United Nations House of Nations in Geneva, Switzerland.
