Railway Ticket Prices to Increase From 26 December: Check Fare Revisions for All Classes and Trains

- Many passengers will face modest increases, for example about Rs 10 more on a 500 km journey in non-AC Mail/Express coaches, while tickets booked before December 26, 2025, and suburban services remain exempt in the second fare revision this year.
- The ministry projects about Rs 600 crore in extra revenue this year as it revises basic fares for major services including Tejas Rajdhani, Rajdhani, Shatabdi, Duronto, Vande Bharat, Humsafar, increasing costs on busy corridors like Delhi–Howrah and Delhi–Mumbai .
