Kiss founding member Ace Frehley's cause of death revealed
- The Morris County Medical Examiner's report found Ace Frehley died on Oct. 16 in Morristown, New Jersey, from blunt trauma injuries to his head due to a fall, ruling it an accident.
- Earlier this month Ace Frehley posted about a 'minor' fall and canceled remaining 2025 shows, including those on Oct. 6 and Oct. 7, before hospitalization and brain bleed.
- According to the medical report obtained by TMZ Monday, Ace Frehley suffered a fractured skull, subdural hematoma and stroke, was placed on life support, and his family withdrew treatment.
- Frehley's family said they are "completely devastated and heartbroken" as bandmates Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley paid tribute while he was laid to rest in New York City.
- Frehley co-founded KISS in 1973 and became known for his 'Spaceman' persona; his death is the first among founding members as the band prepares for the 2025 Kennedy Center Honors.
