Kansas City fire fighters responded to a reported structure fire in the 8300 block of E. Bannister and James A Reed Rd  at 9:30 p.m. Sunday. Crews reported heavy fire from the vacant single-story Robandee strip mall on arrival. Defensive operations were initiated using multiple master streams. The fire is currently under control.
