Judge Peinado extends the Begoña Gomez case and extends it half a year longer

Judge Juan Carlos Peinado has ruled out concluding this month the investigation of the wife of the President of the Government, Begoña Gómez.

Judge Juan Carlos Peinado, who has held Begoña Gómez accused since April 16, 2024, does not plan to complete his inquiries in the short term. Through a decision dated Tuesday, to which EL PAÍS had access, the judge has ruled out finishing this month his investigation against the wife of Pedro Sánchez, president of the government; and has extended it another half year.

This was revealed in his statement as a witness, to which Libertad Digital, who was vice-rector of the UCM Juan Carlos Doadrio, has had access.
