The ruling, known this Tuesday afternoon in an 11-page document, states in its grounds that the judge understands, “that the ritual law is intended for the judge or court to value the time of pretrial detention that has been served and that such imprisonment does not create a situation of injustice, when it turns out that the penalty applied is suspended or would ultimately allow him to enjoy the benefit of parole (art. 13 C.P.)”.
