- The committee's action will ensure coverage for November benefits and sustain Women, Infants and Children program operations through the month, with officials estimating about $50 million in food value for households.
- With Congress at an impasse, Governor Jared Polis warned lawmakers may need more action if the shutdown persists, and Colorado joined 22 other states in a lawsuit to restore SNAP benefits, Attorney General Phil Weiser said.
