JHS Softball Starts Minnesota Trip With Win

STAPLES, MN – Jamestown Blue Jay Softball started a weekend in Minnesota with a 4-0 win Friday at Staples-Motley. Maddie Hoff (6-4) pitched a four-hit shutout, striking out eight and walking one. Errors scored the first two runs for Jamestown (12-8-1) in the top of the first inning.  Sophia Bond hit a two-run homer, her fourth of the season, in the fifth inning. The Blue Jays will play Saturday at Little Falls.
