Jess Redden has been awake all night, she tells me with a smile when I arrive, explaining that this is why she looks so tired. Actually, she doesn’t, she looks fairly radiant, but it would be understandable if she did. Not only is the recently turned 30-year-old barely over a month into becoming a mother – exhausting in itself – she is recently home from a seven-night stay in hospital with her new baby Bobby, a terrifying ordeal.
