A Japanese tourist has died after falling from the perimeter wall of Rome’s ancient Pantheon, leading to an investigation by local authorities. Rome police are investigating the death of a 69-year-old Japanese tourist as an accident. He fell from the outer enclosure wall over a moat at the back of the famous Pantheon on Friday evening. Security cameras captured the man lying on a ledge at the top of the wall, then turning and plunging almost seven meters into the water.
