Italian Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani has called on the European Central Bank to cut interest rates. The aim is to weaken the euro, as the current strong European currency is hurting Italian exporters, AFP reported. "In addition to US import tariffs, our exporters are also being hurt by the increasingly weak dollar and the increasingly strong euro," Tajani told reporters after talks with EU Trade Commissioner Maroš Šefčovič.
