As Italy’s Trento grapples with a demographic crisis and seeks ways to repopulate its picturesque towns, the province is offering up to €100,000 in subsidies to non-residents who decide to move there.

The mountainous region of northern Italy, famous for its majestic Dolomites Alps, is launching a special program to help revive towns facing a sharp population decline.

Whoever signs the contract must live there for 10 years or rent the property for the same period of time. Trentino allocated 10 million euros over the next two years.
