To discuss Israel-Iran conflict The UN Security Council will hold a new meeting this Friday morning on the escalation of the conflict between Israel and Iran, announced the Guyana mission, which presides over the body in June. After a first emergency meeting last week, this new session, scheduled for Friday at 10h00 (14H00 GMT), was requested by Iran, a petition supported by Russia, China and Pakistan, specified to AFP a diplomatic source.

Diplomatic sources quoted by the Iranian news agency IRNA have indicated that the meeting will take place in New York on Friday at 10 a.m. (local time, 16.00 Spanish peninsular time), although so far there has been no confirmation by the group of 15 countries.

After an initial emergency meeting last week, this new session, scheduled for Friday at 10:00, was requested by Iran.
