Sunrisers Hyderabad's Leading Wicket-Taker From IPL 2019 Returns After Trade with Delhi Capitals
SRH brought back T Natarajan for INR 5 crore while Delhi Capitals added Zeeshan Ansari for Rs 40 lakh ahead of the IPL auction.
On Tuesday, Sunrisers Hyderabad and Delhi Capitals completed a player trade, sending T Natarajan back to Hyderabad while Zeeshan Ansari joins the Delhi-based franchise.
Natarajan returns to the franchise where he established himself as "one of the IPL's most effective Indian left-arm seam bowlers," having spent five seasons there before Delhi Capitals acquired him in 2025.
The pacer joins Hyderabad for a revised fee of Rs 5 crore, while Ansari moves to Delhi at his existing Rs 40 lakh salary after taking six wickets in 10 appearances.
Delhi Capitals see Rs 10.35 crore deducted from their purse, while Sunrisers Hyderabad face a Rs 4.6 crore deduction following this transaction.
Ahead of the impending Indian Premier League auction later this year, both franchises are reshaping their rosters, with Delhi looking to bolster spin-bowling options through Ansari's arrival.
