AMES, Iowa -- The last weekend of the Summer Iowa Games is finally here, and an estimated 10,000 athletes have turned out to put their skills to the test. The Iowa Games kicked off in 1987 as a way to bring weekend athletes, children, senior citizens, and more together for an Olympic-style competition.
