Missing Woman Found Dead in Fresno County Canal Identified

Authorities on Monday recovered the body of a missing woman from a canal near Sanger, the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office said. A worker discovered what appeared to be a body around 8 a.m. in the water near Newmark and American avenues, officials said. First responders arrived 15 minutes later and located the body.
