The unwanted and invasive species velvet hornet, which originates from Southeast Asia, has been seen for the first time in Denmark. Concerns are now growing that it will make its way to the rest of Scandinavia and Sweden, where it could cause great damage to bee pollination and the ecosystem, according to biologist Didrik Vanhoenacker.
