From Tribune Staff Reports BESSEMER, Ala. — A 24-year-old inmate was found unresponsive Saturday morning at the Jefferson County Jail-Bessemer, according to the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office. The decedent, identified as D’Koleman Juvan Harris of Bessemer, was discovered inside a two-person cell at approximately 8:15 a.m. on Nov. 9, 2025, authorities said.
