The federal government led by the Union has been in office for almost a month. Now it has gained approval, a new survey shows.
According to the latest ARD DeutschlandTrend survey, the CDU/CSU (Christian Democratic Union) has gained popularity among voters, now reaching 29 percent in the Sunday poll—an increase of two percentage points compared to the previous month. Despite this gain, the majority of respondents in Germany remain dissatisfied with the work of Chancellor Friedrich Merz.
