The Finnish government announced plans on Friday to build a new trinitrotoluene (TNT) plant that would strengthen the Finnish and European ammunition production sector.
Minister of Defence Antti Häkkänen (Saml) says that the factory will guarantee that the Finnish Defence Forces have enough ammunition.
The investment is being planned by the tricky company Forcit. Defence Minister Häkkänen said last year that Finland wants a TNT explosives factory.
