Nvidia GTC 2025: What to expect from this year's show

  • Nvidia's biggest conference of the year, GTC, begins on Monday and runs until Friday in San Jose, featuring 1,000 sessions, 2,000 speakers, and close to 400 exhibitors.
  • CEO Jensen Huang will deliver a keynote address at the SAP Center on Tuesday at 10 a.m. Pacific, focusing on AI, robotics, and automotive reveals.
  • During Nvidia's most recent earnings call in February, with a record-breaking revenue of $39.3 billion and a projection of $43 billion for the subsequent quarter, Huang confirmed the upcoming Blackwell Ultra B300 series slated for release in the second half of this year, packing more memory.
  • Huang described Rubin, due out in 2026, as a "big, big, huge step up" in computing power, and said he'd talk about post-Rubin products at GTC.
  • Despite Nvidia commanding an estimated 82% of the GPU market, rivals like AMD are encroaching, and U.S. Export controls and fears of tariffs have depressed Nvidia's stock price in recent months, although DeepSeek's rise is expected to accelerate AI adoption.
