MANTEO, N.C. (WNCT) -- An Indigo Bunting bird was spotted at the Alligator River National Wildlife Refuge, potentially traveling over 1,200 miles. According to a press release, "this male Indigo Bunting may migrate over 1,200 miles! Indigo buntings migrate at night using stars for guidance."
