Pakistan says any attempt to divert water meant for it under Indus Water Treaty will be considered Act of War
In response to Indias suspension of the Indus Waters Treaty after the Pahalgam terror attack, Pakistan declared the move an "Act of War" and announced sweeping retaliatory actions. These include suspending trade, closing the Wagah border, cancelling SAARC visas (except for Sikh pilgrims), reducing diplomatic staff, closing airspace to Indian airlines, and freezing all bilateral agreements including the Simla Agreement.
