KERR COUNTY, TEXAS, JUL 28 – Indiana Task Force 1 completed nearly three weeks of search, rescue, and recovery after Texas floods killed at least 135 people, providing critical support to Kerr County officials.
- Nevada Task Force 1 returned home to Southern Nevada after nearly three weeks aiding flood recovery in Kerr County, Texas following July 4 weekend floods.
- The floods struck several Texas counties after days of heavy rain, killing more than 100 people and leaving others missing, which prompted FEMA to deploy search and rescue teams.
- Nevada Task Force 1, consisting of 47 members and four K9s, joined other state teams like Colorado and Ohio Task Forces in extensive searches across debris fields and damaged buildings.
