India wins toss and opts to bat against West Indies in third ODI
Anshul Kamboj makes his ODI debut as India target a 3-0 series sweep after Shubman Gill won the toss and chose to bat.
On Saturday, India captain Shubman Gill won the toss and elected to bat first against West Indies in the third and final ODI at the New PCA Stadium in New Chandigarh.
Leading the series 2-0, India made three changes to the playing eleven, handing a debut to all-rounder Anshul Kamboj while recalling Mohammed Siraj and Nitish Kumar Reddy.
West Indies captain Shai Hope made three changes, bringing in Jewel Andrew, Matthew Forde, and Gudakesh Motie, saying, "I just want to be consistent with the bat."
The Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium hosts its first men's ODI, becoming the 52nd venue in India to stage a game in this format.
Seeking a clean sweep in his backyard, Gill looks to continue his dominant form after leading India to victory in the first two matches of the series.
