- The Ministry described the Pakistani Navy's conduct as "unacceptable and unprofessional," though the collision caused no major damage to either vessel.
- Following the collision, the Ministry delivered a strong protest to the Pakistani Charge in New Delhi and instructed the Indian Charge in Islamabad to lodge a similar complaint.
- As of today, neither the Ministry of Foreign Affairs nor the Pakistan Navy had issued a formal response regarding the collision or the protest from the MEA.
