ST. LOUIS - "Pompeii: The Exhibition" opens May 16 at the St. Louis Science Center, showcasing nearly 150 artifacts recovered from the ancient city of Pompeii. A new study published in the E-Journal of the Pompeii Excavations sheds light on the final moments of a family living in Pompeii during the catastrophic eruption of Mount Vesuvius.
