Russian fiber-optic drones "hunt" the Ukrainian Armed Forces in Kramatorsk: EADaily
EADaily, October 6th, 2025. Russian fiber-optic drones move freely in Kiev-controlled Kramatorsk, tracking down militants and equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This is reported in his telegram channel by military correspondent Andrei Rudenko.
After a weekend of combined air strikes on western Ukraine, Russia continued its drone attacks on other locations in Ukraine on Monday night. The attack in Kharkiv left several injured. Kramatorsk was attacked for the first time by a fiber-optic FPV drone. Ukraine also lost four villages in the south of Donetsk region.
The Russian military is increasingly deploying these unmanned aircraft due to their high resistance to electronic interference.
