- The NIA's filings allege the accused illegally entered Mizoram and crossed into Myanmar to train Ethnic Armed Groups and facilitated drone consignments from Europe to these insurgent-linked networks.
- According to court filings, the six Ukrainians were part of 14 nationals who entered India on tourist visas and flew to Guwahati; three were detained at Lucknow and three at Delhi airports and remanded Saturday, while seized phones were sent to CERT‑IN for data extraction.
- On Monday, the court extended custody until March 27 as the NIA said it needs to find the mastermind and funding source behind the alleged plot.
- The NIA says the interrogations disclosed contact with unknown terrorists with AK‑47 rifles, who supported proscribed Indian insurgent groups by supplying weapons and drone capabilities, investigators allege.
