Idaho Air National Guard’s 124th Fighter Wing Deploys to Southwest Asia

BOISE—The Idaho Air National Guard deployed more than 300 Airmen from the 124th Fighter Wing on March 29, to Southwest Asia in support of combat and peacekeeping operations within the U.S. Central Command’s area of responsibility.

Multiple A-10 attack aircraft from the Idaho Air National Guard deployed to the Middle East over the weekend. Since March 29, the U.S. Air Force has reinforced its deployment in the Middle East with the dispatch of more A-10 Thunderbolt II attack aircraft, which belong to the 124th Wing of Hunting.
