I am Frankelda is the first Mexican tape in stop-motion to be placed in the main international festivals and marks a before and after in the history of animation in the country.
The film by the Ambriz brothers premiered worldwide at FICG 40 this weekend. It is expected to be a milestone in the history of Mexican cinema, the directors point out and add that it is “a love letter to the art of fiction”.
