- On Friday morning, a tractor-trailer overturns on Interstate 83 in Shrewsbury Township, spilling about 1,000 pounds of hot dogs and closing both directions.
- Pennsylvania State Police said the tractor-trailer had an unspecified mechanical problem that pushed it into a passenger vehicle and scraped along a concrete divider.
- In the aftermath of the crash, Shrewsbury Volunteer Fire Company used a front-end loader to scoop up the hot dogs, and PennDOT called in a truck to spread sand.
