AUSTIN (KXAN) -- All southbound lanes of Interstate 35 in north Austin were shut down Saturday night due to a crash, according to the Austin Police Department. APD posted on X shortly after 10 p.m. that officers were responding to a vehicle-pedestrian crash in the 5400 block of I-35 southbound. The pedestrian involved is in critical condition. A pedestrian was critically injured after being struck by a vehicle on I-35 near 51st Street Saturday night. Two cars were pulled over following the collision.
