Less than 24 hours after the sixth murder in the city this year, Hopewell Police have arrested a suspect. Johnnie Terrell McGhee, 42, of Hopewell has been charged with second-degree murder, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, and shooting in a public place resulting in an injury, according to a Sept. 6 police statement.
