High-Speed Rail Costs Inflated by Car Rental, $720,000 Paid to Rent Six Vehicles

In February 2017, the Railway Infrastructure of Serbia and the Russian company RDŽ International signed an annex that increases the price of works on the section from Stara Pazova to Novi Sad by almost 800,000 dollars, with the majority of that difference being "covered" by the lease agreement for five dacias and one Škoda. Besides, for that money, a company owned by the Serbian state could have bought 60 such vehicles, Radar writes.
