Swatch will raise watch prices in the United States by 5-15 percent as a result of tariffs imposed by Donald Trump on Switzerland last month, announced the Swiss watchmaker's CEO, Nick Hayek. US tariffs on Swiss goods currently stand at 39 percent.
Faced with the 39% customs duty imposed by Washington, Swatch raises its prices in the United States from 5 to 15%. The watchmaker takes advantage of this to launch a special edition, with numbers 3 and 9 inverted.
