The Office of the Maryland State Fire Marshal is investigating an incendiary fire that broke out in a vacant home early Monday morning.

MD State Fire Marshal Investigating Fire in Vacant Hebron Home

Hebron firefighters were called to a home on Chestnut Street for a structure fire just before 4am on Monday. Crews arriving at the scene found fire in a vacant three-story home. Firefighters from several neighboring companies provided assistance or backup.  Investigation by the State Fire Marshal shows the fire began inside the home and is believed to be incendiary.
