The Ministry of Finance has today submitted for consultation a consultation note prepared by the Norwegian Financial Supervisory Authority on a proposal to introduce administrative fines in cases of insider trading. The consultation note was prepared on behalf of the Ministry of Finance on 4 November 2024. It follows up on an initiative from the Norwegian Financial Supervisory Authority, and has received support from Økokrim.
