The Departmental Health Service (Sedes) of La Paz reported yesterday the first case of measles in El Alto. It is a 16-year-old teenager who participated in a massive event in Santa Cruz, a department where at least 20 cases already number.

The patient, a 16-year-old boy, is stable and under medical control, while his relatives remain asymptomatic.
